Science University of Malaysia (USM)
 Established in 1969, Universiti Sains Malaysia currently has three campuses in Peninsular Malaysia. Technological Universtity of Malaysia (UTM)

 Established in 1997, Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris is the first university of education in the country and emphasises on producing leaders through education-based courses.
