STUDY GUIDELINES
AT INSTITUTIONS OF HIGHER LEARNING ABROAD

Students who wish to pursue further studies at the bachelor degree level at HEIs abroad are required to apply for the Non Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Higher Education( MOHE). NOC will only be issued to students who have obtained the minimum qualifications stipulated by MOHE.

QUALIFICATIONS
  1. EGYPT
  • MEDICINE/DENTISTRY

    • SPM (Credits) with a minimum of Grade B3 or B+ (beginning 2009) in Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Additional Mathematics, Bahasa Melayu, English Language and History

  • ISLAMIC STUDIES

    • Possess the Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM)
    1. MOROCCO
  • ISLAMIC STUDIES

    • SPM with five (5) credits and a minimum of B4 or B in Arabic Language (as of 2009).

    1. JORDAN
  • MEDICINE

    • SPM with five (5) credits and a minimum of B4 or B in Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Additional Mathematics (as of SPM 2010).



    STUDY PROGRAMMES IN COUNTRIES OTHER THAN THE MIDDLE EAST
    1. MEDICINE AND DENTISTRY

    STPM with three (3) B Principals ( 2003 onwards) ; OR

    STPM with three (3) C Principals (prior to 2003); OR

    CGPA 3.00 or other equivalent qualifications recognized by the Malaysian government.

    1. PRE-MEDICINE AND DENTISTRY

    SPM (Credits) with a minimum of grade 4B (prior to 2009); OR

    B Grade in Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Additional Mathematics (2009 onwards)

    1. OTHER THAN MEDICINE AND DENTISTRY

    STPM with two (2) C Principals ( 2003 onwards); OR

    STPM with two (2) E Principals (prior to 2003); OR

    CGPA 2.00 or other equivalent qualifications recognized by the Malaysian government.

    SPM (Credits) with a minimum of C grade in five (5) related subjects.
