Initiative A2: Integrated Assessment

In realizing Stage 1: Holistic, Entrepreneurial and Balanced Graduate in the Malaysian Education Development Plan (Higher Education) - PPPM (PT), iCGPA has been developed as a mechanism for assessing and reporting student achievement. The iCGPA is an integrated mechanism of assessment, achievement reporting and student development that takes into account their ethics, knowledge and capabilities. This report shows the achievement of the desired attributes through the six student aspirations in the PPPM (PT) and the eight learning outcomes of the Malaysian Qualifications Framework. It is an integrated assessment system aimed at helping multiple stakeholders make decisions or plan step of improvement. The mechanism aims to drive development and alignment in the design, delivery and assessment of curriculum at the program and course levels to focus students' learning experiences on holistic and balanced human development.

Initiative Action Plan

Phase 1 (2015) - Leading the development of integrated assessment methods initiated by the pilot IPTs.
Phase 2 (2016-2020) - Launch and implement integrated assessment system.
Phase 3 (2021-2025) - Improve the integrated assessment framework across all public and private IPTs.
